Secretary John Henwood provided the following information:
Headington Bowls Club sadly lost another bowler yesterday (Tuesday13th May) after a very short illness Dave North. He was still bowling 10 days ago! (Dave always wore a pork-pie hat on the bowls green)
Dave started bowling at Headington after his wife passed away some 11 years ago, he very quickly became part of the fabric of the club, always doing jobs around the club and garden. He will be very sadly missed, a really true friend.
