More sad news: I have been informed that Terry Murphy passed away last week. Terry started bowling with OUP before he joined Headington some 12 years ago. Terry was a very upright man in his stature and his nature an absolutely perfect gentleman.
Chris weller adds: I played indoors with Terry Murphy at Oxford C&C for a number of years. I echo John's comments, a very good draw bowler, with a quiet dry sense of humour. Terry was also if my memory serves me correctly, one of that rare band who played with size 6 bowls!
Terry's funeral is on Thursday 5th June at midday, St Clements Church Marston Road Oxford OX4 1FN where Terry was a lay preacher for many years.
