We apologise for not publishing this before, but somehow it "slipped through our net"
We were asked to pass on the sad news that Ron Havard passed away after a long illness, back in June 2024.
Ron had been a long standing member of Banbury Central and had been Men’s Captain in 1997, 1998 and again in 2001. He was also involved in setting up the ever popular Millennium League. He was a well respected indoor bowler and was Indoor County President in 2012.
Ron’s funeral was at Banbury Crematorium on Tuesday 25th June 2024.
