Sadly I have to tell you of the death of Richard Smith. Richard was a member of Middle Barton for over forty years and their Club Captain for a time. He may also be remembered by players in Banbury and Chipping Norton where he was a member for some years.

 

Richard was known as a quiet, kind and helpful person and a delight to play against; our thoughts at this time will be with Betty and his family.

 

Funeral arrangements:  The service will take place on Thursday 10th October at 10.00 am at the North Oxfordshire Crematorium, Tackley, followed by a wake afterwards at Steeple Aston Village Hall.
