More sad news, I was informed last night that Rose Smith a member of Headington Bowls club for over 30 years passed away on Tuesday 23rd April 2024. Rose’s funeral will take place on Thursday 23rd May 2024 at  South Oxford crematorium  1.00pm

Rose had not played for many years and I am sorry to say I did not know Rose very well,  but she always insisted on paying her HBC membership.

Rose was related to Bob Wright from Carterton I think they were cousins and  died within 24 hours of each other.
