Sadly another OBA Past President Ray Cooper has recently passed away.
See below a short obituary from Headington BC Secretary John Henwood , and again via John, details of the funeral arrangements, courtesy of his son David.
John H writes: I have been informed that Ray Cooper has passed away at the beginning of this week.
Ray was a life member of Headington Bowls Club and was president of the Club 3 times 1978,1984, 1991.He was also a member of Oxford City & County Bowls Club for quite a few years. He was County President in 1987. Ray was a very generous and passionate person when it involved bowls, and I am told not a bad bowler in his day.
David Cooper: Please find below details of my fathers funeral. We would be delighted to have anyone from the bowls club attend, as it was a huge part of his life.
