Oxfordshire travelled to Tilehurst to face Buckinghamshire in the Middleton cup, which is being played on a knockout basis this season.
Jason Kings rink of Lee Young, Craig Morphett and Ray Gaskins gave their opponents a 15 start after 5 ends, the rest of the game was closer but they lost 27 - 10. A J Dochertys rink of Keith Holloway, Ady Kemish and Mark Sykes dropped a 3 and 4 on the last 2 ends to loose 17-15. David Leighfields rink of Bradley Squires, Chris Weller and Will Campion picked a 4 up on the last end to win 15-13. Paul Sharmans rink of Andy McIntyre, Brian Bloomfield and manager Kevin Alder after a slow start controlled their game to win 17-12. Mark Charletts rink of Sam Watts, James Gaskins and Ian Henwood lost 22-15.  Nick Rae Welsh's rink of Mick Jeff's, Paul Conley and Shane Cooper started well leading 8-2 but lost 18 shots without reply to loose 27-14. The final score was Oxfordshire 86, Buckinghamshire 118.
No complaints Buckinghamshire played well and we wish them well in the next round.
