PLAYED AT OXFORD CITY AND COUNTY BC ON SUNDAY 18TH JUNE 2023

The Walker Cup team played a steady game against a strong Surrey team. One shot ahead at 10 ends and steadily pullling away to a good win of 41 shots to 28 to secure a place in the Regional Finals next Sunday at Egham BC where they will play first against Hampshire who won their match against Middlesex. Another win in the afternoon would see them through to Leamington for the National Finals but all to play for. Well done to all of you. A great game to watch and support.

JOHNS TROPHY – BOL V SUSSEX

SATURDAY 18TH JUNE 2022

Played at Sutton BC, Surrey.

Plenty of enthusiasm and positive play but unfortunately the game did not go our way and the overall result was a loss of 107 shots for BOL and 144 for Sussex, with a win on two rinks.

A big thank you to Sutton for their hospitality, especially after the match when we extended our stay  in the bar due a delay with the coach broken down and a very late return to Oxford.

Thanks to the team for their cheerfulness and fortitude.
